A city girl who never lived in the country until she married and that gentleman introduced her to a little acreage. Just a few miles out of town but far enough to tap into her creative spirit. After raising their two children they grew up . The gent picked the city life and his sis picked the country. Less than a mile from her childhood log home she and her husband chose a Farmstead....and the rest is history!

Simple Living
No streetlights...no noise except for the wind. Sunrises and Sunsets with nothing to obstruct the view. Laughter and giggling in the distance of our little grandsons. The sight of these little boys on their bicycles "making their own fun" with a plastic bottle trapped near the back tire to resemble the sound of a "moto."
Birds of all colors traveling from their Farmstead to our home. Deer visiting the back yard each evening after dinner.
Chores done daily morning and evening and as the soil warms up there is growth.
Mud boots and grass stained blue jeans, the tree swing sees a visitor several times a day. Good news is shared daily and there are a lot of smilies.
